He's Baaaaaack

What's up peeps, sorry I have been on leave for the last week or so. The combination of finals, HEs graduation, and a severe lack of sleep has kept me in the proverbial cave recently. Sorry for the absence, now it's summer and that means free time, which means blogging. Vamanos......
  • Shout out to myself for managing to sleep until 6PM, a feat most of you can only dream of accomplishing.
  • Congratulations to my brother for graduating from the most distinguished academic institution in the planet, the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. Getting a college degree is something that I feel is overlooked in today's society, so Brother youre a beast for doin' work over the last four years.
  • It's currently halftime of the Mavs game, and I am sick and tired of NBA refs on witch hunts for flagrant fouls and techs. After missing an offensive foul on Carmelo, the refs slapped JET with a flagrant and a tech for a foul that he barely had any part in. The call resulted in a five point swing for the Nuggets, giving them a ten point lead at the half. Refs are killin' me. Nugs are killin' me. This whole series is killin' me. As much as I want the Mavs to win this game, I feel like there is not much point given that they prob won't win this series. Love the Mavs, but considering no one has ever come back to win from 3-0, I don't like the odds. The Thugs have too much confidence, swagger, tenacity, and energy for the Mavs to salvage this series. Regardless, here's to the Mavs and the organization as a whole, always be number one in the heart.
  • I hate to say it, but I think I'm finally jumping on the Cavs bandwagon. The Lakers aren't giving as strong of a showing as I expected, and the Lebrontosaurus is a man on a mission. However, I would like to see the Cavs play a team that actually has a chance in the playoffs.
Eight minutes left in the second half, it's time for me to get back to watching, so here's a few shout outs.
  • Shout out to my boy BFlora, who "wishes his ERA was as low as his GPA." Wish you could be here watchin' the game with us buddy.
  • Shout out to Brian Scalabrine's headband, or as the men on TNT called it, the Skullabrine.
  • Shout out to Ron Artest's post game interviews, Brandon Roy is the best player he's ever seen.
Sorry for the brevity, expect more tomorrow when the Mavs aren't on.

Feels good to be back,

Big Wil
